How we work
Digital projects need a clear approach – but also enough flexibility for new insights. We guide projects step by step from analysis through to ongoing operation. Each phase provides orientation, makes decisions transparent and brings concept, design, technology and editorial work closer together.
Phase 1
Analysis
At the outset, we build a shared understanding of goals, target groups, content, existing systems and technical constraints. Through interviews, analyses and workshops, we gather requirements, identify dependencies and consolidate the basis for the next steps.
Phase 2
Structure
From these insights, we develop the content and functional structure of the project. This includes the sitemap, navigation, user journeys, content structures and initial wireframes that show how users will later be guided through the digital service.
Phase 3
Design
The visual concept emerges on the basis of the structure. We develop design systems, layouts, components and responsive templates that bring together brand, content and usage and work consistently on all devices.
Phase 4
Technical concept
In parallel with the design, we define the technical foundation. We plan CMS structures, data models, roles and permissions, interfaces, search functions and migration paths so that the system is stable, maintainable and practical for editors.
Phase 5
Agile delivery
During delivery, we develop the frontend, CMS, components, modules, APIs and custom features. Regular reviews ensure that concept, design and technology remain closely aligned and that new insights can be incorporated early.
Phase 6
Migration
Existing content is transferred, reviewed and prepared for the new structure. We pay attention to editorial quality, technical consistency, accessibility and thorough testing before the system goes live.
Phase 7
Go-live & hardening
At launch, we support the move to production, test the system under real-world conditions and fix any remaining bugs. Monitoring, quality assurance and editorial support ensure a stable start.
Phase 8
Operation & further development
After launch, the project keeps moving. We help with support, maintenance, updates, optimisations and new features so that websites, platforms and digital systems remain reliable and high-performing over the long term.
