DATES for e.on: Data visualisation for the energy-efficient refurbishment of public buildings

For the energy supplier e.on and associated partners, we developed DATES – the “Digitale Analyse Tool für Energetische Sanierungsfahrpläne” (digital analysis tool for energy-efficient refurbishment roadmaps). It was a cooperation project between e.on and public institutions, led and commissioned by e.on.

DATES consolidates and visualises all collected data and parameters relating to the energy efficiency and energy refurbishment needs of public buildings. The data obtained is used to plan the energy-efficient refurbishment of the respective buildings.

The online tool for internal use offers a wide range of options for querying, displaying and exporting the data. In terms of content, we benefited from our many years of experience with data-driven tools and systems, including in the energy sector – for example in creating energy performance certificates or in the “Stromsparcheck” (electricity-saving check) project of the Berliner Energieagentur.
