transdev: Multibrand platform for more than 40 websites

With more than 40 subsidiaries, the French transdev Group is the largest private mobility provider in Germany. The group operates bus and rail companies under regional brands – among the largest are Nordwestbahn, Mittelrheinbahn, Bayerische Regiobahn and Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn. For all of these companies, we conceive, design, develop and maintain the websites on the basis of an overarching content management and data platform.

Including the German transdev website, we operate more than forty websites on one extensive platform. It is critical infrastructure for the company: the face to the customer, bound by the regulated requirements of the transport authorities, and at the same time a hub that bundles data streams and distributes them to various touchpoints.

Together with transdev, we developed an overarching layout and recognisable user guidance that works for the larger rail companies as well as for the smaller bus lines. transdev can now draw on a wide range of tools and options that can be used for individual websites.

Technically, the platform integrates various data sources and delivers data, content and media to the websites, departure monitors, the on-board Wi-Fi portal in the trains and apps. We have been responsible for the continuous conceptual, design and technical development and the stable operation of the platform since 2013.
