Paul Vahle: Multilingual web platform for a global industrial company

Paul Vahle GmbH & Co. KG is a leading supplier of mobile energy and data transmission systems for industry, logistics and amusement parks. With solutions such as conductor rails, conductor lines and inductive power transfer, the company ensures an efficient and safe power supply for moving applications – internationally and with more than 100 years of experience.

As part of an internal reorganisation, Vahle had adapted its corporate design, and it was now to be implemented digitally as well. This included positioning the national subsidiaries well and prominently – with particular attention to the many languages. Arabic and Asian languages posed a special challenge.

Based on the existing design guidelines, we developed an adapted design and rebuilt the front end accordingly. The new corporate design, including the logo, fits seamlessly into the website and gives it a fresh, professional look.

For the many languages – including right-to-left scripts – we extended the DeepL extension so that the national subsidiaries are integrated precisely in their own language. As part of an upgrade to the current TYPO3 version, we revised central extensions and complex data relations and connected a new CRM interface. The website also includes a product catalogue and a trade fair module.
